More Mountain Morzine are Sam Thomas and Jon Dredge and a team of very lovely, grown up, efficient and enthusiastic staff. We are an exciting and passionate independent ski and snowboard chalet business based in Morzine Avoriaz, France and have been creating happy ski and snowboard holidays for over 7 years.
We love style, design and modern interiors… hence why we make our chalets look fabulous. We like holidays where you feel at home but also a little bit special… hence why we employ good staff. We adore tasty food and great wine… hence why we carefully choose our menus and hand pick our vino. We never forget why you are on holiday… hence why we continue to make you laugh every day and throw in a VERY large dose of enthusiasm for the Alps.

More Mountain was set up in 2004 by husband and wife team Sam and Jon Dredge. We decided to quit the high flying corporate world of Manchester, leave our careers behind and move to the Mountains in pursuit of the dream lifestyle of running our own luxury chalet business and snowboarding every day! There was “no going back”… especially when we discovered the beautiful resort of Morzine which is now our home all year round.
With over 10 winter seasons under our belts, we have experienced a lot of winter holidays in a number of different ski resorts across the globe. We’ve snowboarded our way around the world, having lived in Canada, Europe and New Zealand, and have stayed in all types of accommodation from tiny wooden mountain huts to plush 5* hotels.
We know what makes a good holiday and we aim to combine all our previous corporate skills with our travel experience to deliver a more stylish, contemporary and modern approach to ski chalets and apartments in Morzine. We wanted to create the type of holiday we always strived to find. Now…

To qualify, our chalets must maintain an average rating of four or higher out of a possible five, as reviewed by independent travellers on TripAdvisor. We are currently ranked Number 1 Chalet Company in Speciality Lodging in Morzine and we are really proud of it!
