Whats Included
Your airport transfer to and from Geneva is included. Your breakfast and evening meal is provided including wine with dinner, afternoon tea, one day of mountain hosting, PLUS a complimentary “pick up & drop off” service is available daily to and from the ski lifts in one of our Landrovers. We will even help you organise ski lessons and lift passes and arrange for all your ski hire to be delivered to the chalet.

At More Mountain we pride ourselves on employing grown up friendly and professional staff with a lot of life experience, passion for the mountains and good commercial experience.
Working closely at all times with Sam & Jon, they have a thorough knowledge for the business and know what good service is all about, mainly because most of them have actually stayed as guests at More Mountain or been to Morzine in the past. We couldn’t ask for more really…Meet the team for 2012.
Sam & Laura LA CABINE
Sam & Laura met at university and discovered a shared love for skiing and snowboarding. Since graduating, Sam has worked in Sales & Marketing for the action sports industry. He’s an adventurous chap and recently biked from Lands End to John O’ Groats in an impressive 11 days. When not recovering from saddle sore, you’ll find him cruising the skate parks of the Midlands!Laura’s work involved organising volunteering projects and events for university students and young people. She has previously lived and worked in France, and is looking forward to returning to the land of cheese and champagne. Laura likes to pretend she’s Mary Berry and is famed for her Choccocino Cake.

Laura & Nathan CHALET ROBIN
After years of working in the corporate world, Laura & Nathan are biting the bullet and moving to the mountains!Nathan is a keen snowboarder but back home he worked in customer services for 15 years. Nothing is ever too much trouble and he is always happy to help. Being a boarder, Laura is set on making Nathan digress from the dark side and learn how to ski…
Laura has been skiing since she was five and one of her favourite past times is beating Nathan down the mountain! Laura studied Interior Design before starting a career in Beer Marketing. She is very bubbly and energetic with a love of good food, wine and certain beers! She will reluctantly be turning to the dark side and learning how to snowboard thanks to Nathan…

Jenny THE LOFT
Jenny is a board sports mad girl who decided “you only live once so you’ve got to follow your heart” So… her heart led her to More Mountain and the mountains of Morzine Avoriaz. Following a successful 10 year career in the Armed Forces, Jenny made the break and followed her passion for snowboarding. She has snowboarded her way around a number of resorts in France, Canada and Bulgaria.
She has more enthusiasm for mountain life than you can shake a stick at and has spent the last 2 years working in a chalet in Bulgaria. She is a qualified snowboard and wakeboard instructor and its safe to say her work ethic is strong – she can handle pretty much anything you throw at her!

Ricardo Flashini CHALET OPERATIONS MANAGER
“Ric holidayed with More Mountain in 2009, staying at La Cabine. He immediately fell in love with the chalet, the resort and the whole More Mountain experience… he simply had to apply to Sam and Jon to be part of their team for winter….and as they say the rest is history!”Ric has a BA (Hons) degree in Hospitality Management and over 10 years managerial experience within the industry. Having spent 2 years running our sister chalet, La Cabine, Ric is moving into a managerial role with us this winter and is also helping Jenny to run the LOFT. He has a lot of experience at More Mountain with both our clients and our working partners in resort. You may have spoken to him on the phone already as he is also our office manager when we cant be there. “We’ve been very lucky and lived in loads of great resorts in Europe and North America but now we always come back to Morzine. Fact is, the Portes du Soleil is just by far the best place to snowboard and we love the mountains here! ”Ruth & Dan are a dab hand at running chalets with over 8 years hospitality experience across a wide range of chalet operators in both operational and managerial positions. Last year was their 6th Winter here in Morzine and they have worked for More Mountain for 2 years. Having spectacularly ran our flagship chalet, Chalet Robin, for this duration NOW its time for a new challenge.
As ambassadors for our self catering business, Ruth and Dan will be Apartment Managers and “In Resort Concierge” for More Mountain as a result of their knowledge and expertise in Morzine. It’s safe to say they know their stuff and they will ensure standards are high and service levels are second to none!

Very proud to get a mention in The Times this Saturday about More Mountain Luxury Chalets in Morzine being part of an elite set of top 15 sexy chalets across the Alps.
We had been selected to feature in an article about cool and funky chalets in the Alps. Nice to see us up there with the £17,000 a week places where the likes of Robbie Williams have stayed – we are obviously doing something right and our prices are definitely a LOT more affordable!

This season has seen a late start to the normal snow fall levels we are generally used to in January and February… its been like this across all of the Alps. But finally we are getting tonnes of the white stuff!
It looks like March and April is the time for lots of powder and BIG snowfalls so make the most of it… Due to the late dates of Easter holidays this year, we have a couple of spaces available in our luxury catared chalets in central Morzine for the 27th March and 3rd April 2011.

More Mountain in The Independent!

Once again we are proud to be getting a mention in the national press – after 5 years of hard graft, we are really stoked to have been featured in The Independent last Sunday in their “SnowTraveller” Supplement where More Mountain Luxury Chalets gets a big Thumbs Up!
Journalist Jon Secret came to Morzine to experience the delights of the Portes Du Soleil Ski area and experienced first hand the excellent service from our lovely chalet hosts, Sarah and Andy, great food, fun times and attention to detail at our luxury catered chalet in Central Morzine, The Loft.

“I’d never been to Morzine, so it could hardly be my favourite place to ski, but a luxury fully catered chalet? I decided it was time to try something new.
Morzine is one of the more northerly resorts in the French Alps, and within easy reach of Europe’s winter-sports hub, Geneva. Just 80 minutes after leaving the airport, the transfer bus was pulling up outside The Loft, my home for the week. It’s run by the husband-and-wife team Jon and Sam Dredge of More Mountain, an independent chalet company specialising in what they call “non pretentious” luxury chalet holidays in Morzine.
The Loft occupies the top two floors of a traditional Savoyard farmhouse, now transformed into a place of slick luxury. There’s a games and a chill-out area on one level with a large flat-screen television, DVD and satellite, heated floors throughout, an iMac computer and WiFi running the sound system. The views from the balcony over the pretty town and soaring mountains are stunning.
My chalet hosts, Andy and Sarah, wasted no time inviting me to relax on the sumptuous leather sofas, where I drank champagne and ate canapés. Then it was on to the first gourmet meal of the week, washed down with wine and homemade toffee vodka.
It didn’t take long before I was mentally redrafting my list of favourite ski resorts. The task became easier as I learned how splendidly connected everything is, thanks to an extensive network of lifts. The Super Morzine and Pleney ski lifts are just a short walk in snowboard boots from the chalet or an even shorter ride in the complimentary chalet pick-up and drop-off service. A fuzzy head dictated the latter option, using the chalet’s private shuttle: an ex-military go anywhere and do anything Land Rover Defender called “The Baron”.
