The Portes du Soleil's Mountain Bike Area is without doubt one of the largest in the world, becoming renowned as the prime place for mountain bikers from the whole world over.
With 650km of signposted trails between France and Switzerland; 24 ski-lifts specially adapted for carrying bikes; dozens of permanent downhill tracks, trial circuits, biker-cross and bike-handling schools.
Downhillers, Endurance Racers, Cross-Country Purists or Recreational Riders... all appreciate the experience and infrastructure which have made this area a MTB Mecca.

On June 28th and 29th the Portes du Soleil area celebrates the opening of all its Summer lifts with the Pass Portes du Soleil MTB Tour

The Pass Portes du Soleil is a Mountain Bike trek ranging from 1000 to 2250m in altitude, in both France and Switzerland, where you can discover the fabulous Portes du Soleil MTB terrain and its breath taking scenery.
There are 3 circuits of 35, 50 and 75km making full use the area's lifts. Different variations will be organized for the X-Country Purists who wish to cycle up hill(?!)

The trek takes one day, and participants can choose whether to ride it on Saturday or Sunday.
6 refreshment points en route serving regional produce (local cheese, dried meat, Swiss chocolate, beer, etc...)
Rivella and Powerbar will be giving away their products at the refreshment points.
Technical assistance by MAVIC - 2 permanent areas around the circuit (in the Lindarets and at the Show in Champery) + motorbikes moving around the circuit to assist enroute.
Entertainment (MTB festival) in each resort on the circuit.
