Catered Mountain Bike Chalet in Morzine
If you are a mountain biker and haven’t ridden in Morzine yet, you are missing a trick. Morzine is located in the Portes du Soleil, which has thousands of kilometers of mountain bike trails. Whether you are in to enduro or downhill, there is something for you. At More Mountain, we have the perfect catered mountain bike chalet in Morzine.
Chalet Robin is where Sam and Jon started More Mountain, but don’t let its age fool you. This stunning chalet is kept up to date and fresh to give you the proper More Mountain experience. It is great for skiers and snowboarders during the winter, but arguably, it is even better for mountain bikers in the summer.
What to Expect
Chalet Robin is catered, meaning your chalet hosts prepare you breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals. They are on hand to answer your questions about the area, places to go and other activities you might want to try.
The chalet has a large lounge area with two sun trap balconies. It also has big comfy sofas to chill out with a beer from the honesty bar. Lots of our guests watch a film or play on the Playstation before dinner too.
A great way to finish a day pedalling around the alps is in Chalet Robin’s out door hot tub. Grab a beer and soothe your tired legs in those bubbles!
The trails in the Portes du Soliel are pretty punishing on bikes. Therefore Chalet Robin’s huge garage has bike stands, a few tools and a hose to keep your pride and joy running. This makes life a lot easier than having to do maintenance in a carpark in the dark.
If bike maintenance is not your thing, or you have a more serious problem, there are many bike shops in Morzine. Our favourite being Torico Performance Bicycles. They have a great team of mechanics and an awesome hire fleet.
Mountain biking can be a muddy or sweaty past time. Therefore we offer a mid week kit wash to keep you fresh during your stay.
The location of chalet Robin is pretty good too. You are just a short ride to either the Pleney or Super Morzine lifts. Which also means you are close to the bars and restaurants.
