Get the Morzine Experience
Morzine is a fantastic place with loads of things to do winter and summer. We are more than a little bit proud of where we live and love showing it off. From our time here we have acquired a lot of information that will help our guests get the Morzine experience.
If you have never been to Morzine in the winter before, we have written short guides to the village and the mountains to give you a head start before your arrival. We have also compiled a list of top tips to help you squeeze the most out of your time in Morzine.
All the best information
We don’t want you to miss out on the Morzine experience, so we try to make as much information available to you as possible. We have several ways of of doing this:
Depending on your arrival time to your catered chalet you may have had time to have a chat with your hosts over a drink. But all the key information will be given out during your welcome speech. Your chalet hosts will prepare some canapés and Kir Royales for a little get together before dinner. This is when they tell you all about about the chalet, food and anything that may be going on in Morzine during your stay.
Guests staying in our self catered properties will be greeted by someone from our apartments team. They will get you settled in, hand out lift passes and offer any advice relevant to your stay. This is a prime time to ask them for practical information and recommendations that will help you have the best possible time in Morzine.
Our apartments team is always available for our self catered guests. Simply call or text during your stay for help with anything.
Chalet hosts get to go skiing or snowboarding nearly everyday during the winter. So after a couple of weeks into their season they know the mountain like the backs of their gloved hands. It is illegal for hosts to show you around the mountain, but they can give advice about where is best for you and your group to go. So during breakfast and dinner ask them for their top tips.
Their knowledge is not limited to mountain navigation either. Hosts know the best places to go in the evening (and the places to avoid).
Every More Mountain chalet and apartment has an information pack. It tells you all about how the property works and pretty much everything you need to know about Morzine. The pack covers recommended bars, restaurants, things to do and places to go to help you get the Morzine experience.
