The curtain has just fallen on our annual Snowparking snowboard camp and it was a beauty!

The week focuses on freestyle & off piste riding and is always booked up rapidly by people pushing to progress their snowboarding. As demand is so high this year we moved the camp from its usual home at The Loft to the larger chalet of La Cabine.

A big shout out goes to Jimmy and Alex at Love Inc. who have been supporting the event for years and also to SS20 (one of Love Inc.’s main stockists) who threw in some goodies for the event this time. Additionally, thanks to Tom at Numero 97, our regular Snowparking photographer who was constantly snapping away come snow or shine and took all of the photos in this post.
Joni – Backside Shifty
Jules – Indy Grab
The 2014 edition of Snowparking was blessed with a fantastic mixed bag of conditions. The ever-changing mountain weather brought us a couple of fresh dumps of powder, bluebird skies and everything in between.

Lessons (by Laurent at Avoriaz Alpine Ski & Snowboard School) and sessions took place in the Chapelle park, on & off the pistes, in ‘locals-only’ backcountry areas and as always there was plenty of monkey business in The Burton Stash.

Alex and Jon smashing the pow
There were nightly “Today was awesome!” and “Did you see when Jimmy fell on his face!?” chats in the chalet whilst hosts Ellie and Chris cooked up some fantastic food. La Cabine’s hot tub was definitely put to good use to sooth a few aches and pains.
An extra addition to the La Cabine set-up for Snowparking was a huge trampoline and a modified snowboard to use on it that the Love Inc. boys brought in their van. This meant that practicing your spins and flips didn’t have the end when the lifts stopped!

As the week drew to a close it was clear that Snowparking had once again been a huge success.
“Did you ever think you’d be jumping off a cliff like that?” someone shouted as we were slid away from a heavy kicker-off-a-cliff session. This comment echoed the consensus of the crew that through coming to Snowparking their snowboarding had progressed beyond where they ever thought it could.

If this kind of thing sounds right up your street then get in touch to book on for Snowparking 2015… but be quick, places on the camp never hang around for long.
