The tourist office square and surrounding streets will be full of Christmas spirit. Expect to see a huge Christmas tree, stilt walkers, concerts, a light show and an open air ball. Apparently they have also revamped the torchlit descent into a “Ballet style”, which will be interesting.

This is More Mountain’s snowboard test. With help from Subvert Boardstore, we get to try out next year’s snowboard equipment from brands such as Burton, 32, Gnu, Roxy, Capita, Salomon and many more. You can have fantastic snowboard lessons from the best guys in the business, REAL Snowboarding and finish off the week with a huge party. Book as soon as you can to avoid missing out, there is a reason we call it the best week of the season.
Rock The Pistes – 18th – 24th March
Rock the Pistes is a music festival spread all over the Portes du Soleil. As the name suggests all the gigs are held on temporary stages on the slopes! The stages are moved all around the Portes du Soleil by piste bashers and snowmobiles. There is a great atmosphere, with everyone last year dancing in their ski boots to artists such as Rag n’ Bone man and Lilly Wood and the Prick.
These are just the events announced so far, but there will be lots more. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to keep up to date.
