Sales, Marketing & Client Liaison Manager (16/8/23) - Permanent Contract

We are recruiting a Sales, Marketing & Client Liaison Manager to work closely with Sam Jon and Carolyn, to complement our existing MMHQ team and be part of an exciting growth strategy. This role offers lots of development for the future, particularly if you have the right skill set and most importantly positive attitude.

The Role

As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the sales opportunity for winter and summer catered and self catered holidays at More Mountain by growing our overall presence both online and offline. 

Part of your role will be to maintain our excellent customer service levels and enquiry response times. You will be providing a consultative client liaison service and also be proactive at generating new leads, maintaining existing client relationships and building new supplier / rental partnerships with 3rd party advertisers.

You will deal with all clients from the start of the sales process and advise on both, catered, self catered, summer and winter holidays in Morzine for More Mountain. You will be managing emails for sales.  

You will be required to drive sales for prospective and regular More Mountain guests via phone and email and provide follow ups on a daily basis.

You will liaise with the rest of the team, prior to clients arrival into resort, to help manage guest holiday requirements before they get here and ensure they receive a service second to none during their stay in line with the product they were sold.

We are recruiting a year round position based in Morzine, France on a French contract. This is a role for both Summer and Winter with a focus on selling holidays across the whole business and also dealing with post sales, guest liaison and account management.  The aim of this role is to facilitate a seamless guest experience from the moment a client starts the booking process to when they leave resort.  

Sales and Marketing Experience is essential with good IT skills, knowledge of the local area and B1 level French.⁠

Seasonal Chalet & Apartment Host Positions - Morzine Based

Experience:

Ideally you will have worked in Hospitality or Customer facing sales, Marketing or Retail roles. A passion for cooking, chatting to people and hosting dinner parties is essential. Because we give you the autonomy to run your own chalet as if it was your own business, the desire to be self sufficient and accountable at all times is imperative.

Chef experience is not a prerequisite, however, one of you needs to demonstrate you are a good and competent cook. Any professional cooking experience is a bonus. You must be great at entertaining, chatting to people and making conversation. At the same time must also demonstrate a good eye for detail as you will be cleaning and maintaining your property to an extremely high standard daily.

We’d like you to be educated to degree level and have at least 2 years work experience in a commercial role where you have had to deal with people on a face to face basis regularly. You may be on a career break or looking to take a sabbatical.

You must both hold a valid driving licence as you will need to drive an 8 seater minibus around resort. Ski or snowboarding experience and a passion for the mountains is essential.

Chalet Host Couples, Apartment Managers & Housekeepers and Apartment Hosts

Chalet Host Couples

As a Chalet Host Couple you will be responsible for: 

  • Cooking and Hosting : Providing a “Dinner Party” experience on the 5 nights you cater for your guests
  • Cooking 4 course evening mealsCooking breakfasts and Baking Cakes
  • Offering daily advice for the slopes & driving guests to and from the ski lifts
  • Cleaning and maintaining your chalet
  • Weekly changeovers and deep chalet cleans
  • Maintaining Hot Tubs
  • Liaising with Transfer Companies, Ski Hire Companies and Ski Schools
  • Accounts and Budget Responsibility
  • Shopping & Stock Control
  • Basic Chalet Maintenance
  • Being Flexible and Adaptable to guest needs at all times
  • Being enthusiastic at all times and dedicating yourself to excellent customer service

Housekeeping Managers/Chalet and Resort Support

As a Housekeeping Manager/Chalet and Resort support you will be responsible for:

  • Property Management of a small portfolio of apartments
  • Supervising and Assisting small team for deep changeover cleaning on a weekend
  • Apartment Set up and Presentation for Guests
  • Accountability for apartment sign off to the Resort Managers.
  • Meeting and Greeting of Guests
  • Providing information to guests to ensure a fantastic and trouble-free holiday
  • Ensure guests are aware of events and activities available in Morzine during their stay
  • Delivery of Lift Passes and Meal Delivery Services.
  • Respond to any guest requests, deliveries etc.
  • Chalet support to include Tuesdays and Fridays to include driving and breakfast service.
  • Driving: To and from the properties and slopes for our self-catered guests and pick ups for our catered guests.
  • Serving, Hosting & Clear up of pre-cooked meal deliveries in our self-catered properties.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance of hot tubs
  • Troubleshoot maintenance and emergency issues
  • Ensure properties are secure at all times.
  • Organisation and stock control of store areas
  • Collect any money due to More Mountain from guests
  • Snow clearing when needed to ensure the safety and comfort of guests
  • Being Flexible and Adaptable to guest and management needs at all times
  • Being enthusiastic at all times and dedicating yourself to excellent customer service

Housekeeping and Apartments Hosts 

Essential: EU Passport or Carte de Sejour Holders only 

As a Housekeeper and Apartment host you will be responsible for:

  • Deep Changeover Cleaning on a weekend
  • Apartment Set up and Presentation for Guests
  • Meeting and Greeting of Guests
  • Providing information to guests to ensure a fantastic and trouble-free holiday
  • Ensure guests are aware of events and activities available in Morzine during their stay
  • Delivery of Lift Passes and Meal Delivery Services
  • Mid Stay/ Midweek Cleaning
  • Respond to any guest requests, deliveries etc.
  • Serving, Hosting & Clear up of pre-cooked meal deliveries in our self-catered properties.
  • Organisation of store areas
  • Driving guests as and when needed
  • Collect any money due to More Mountain from guests
  • Snow clearing when needed to ensure the safety and comfort of guests
  • Being Flexible and Adaptable to guest and management needs at all times
  • Being enthusiastic at all times and dedicating yourself to excellent customer service
