Sue at Floral Kitchen creates wild, romantic arrangements that feel completely personal to every couple, and the team at More Mountain can recommend private chefs and catering options for your stay.

We also work closely with local photographers like Verity at VTL Photography, who capture the day so effortlessly you’ll barely know they’re there. 

As for logistics,  our team will get your favourite people from the chalets to your ceremony location - whether that’s the serene shores of Lac Montriond, a dramatic mountain summit, or a hidden forest clearing.

Slip back into your wedding outfits (yes, the dress goes over your ski boots beautifully, we promise) and head up the mountain for a post-wedding ski shoot with your photographer.

My top three tips for your wedding

After helping couples plan the most extraordinary week of their lives, my top tips for an unforgettable mountain wedding in Morzine are:

1. Get married at Lac Montriond
Every time we host a wedding here, the feedback from guests is off the charts. The lakeside setting is serene, cinematic, and deeply moving. But a word of caution - you’ll need a land licence to hold your ceremony here, so don’t skip that step! Fun fact: this spot is the original inspiration behind Mountain Weddings.

2. A pre-wedding celebration under the stars
A few days before the wedding, take your bridal party or groomsmen to a mountain refuge for a proper alpine-style hen or stag do. Whether you hike or ski tour in, you’ll have a magical night under the stars, feasting on fondue and sharing stories around the fire. In the morning, watch the sunrise before heading back down to start the wedding festivities. It’s a bonding moment your favourite people will never forget.

3. Organise a welcome scavenger hunt
On the day your guests arrive, split them into teams that mix friend groups and families - people who don’t know each other yet, but absolutely should.
