All you need to know about buses, parking and taxis in Morzine for getting around town and to the slopes in Winter.

Free Bus Service around Morzine

Regular free shuttle bus services (known as navettes) run around resort throughout the day and drop off at the Pleney Telecabine, Prodain Telecabine, Nyon Telecabine, Super Morzine Telecabine, Ardent Telecabine, Lac Montriond and Vallee de la Manche (for walking).

Check the bus timetables so you're not caught out! Some of the buses may have a reduced service over lunchtime.

You'll also find a QR code in all the bus stops which should give you real-time tracking of the buses.

The Bus Timetables

For Winter 2025/26, buses will be running 20th December 2025 to 6th April 2026m with a reduced service during the opening and closing weeks (12th - 19th December 2025 and 7th - 19th April 2026).

The Bus Routes

  • A Bus runs between Pleney and Les Prodains, which is where you can take the telecabine up to Avoriaz. During busy periods, the A2 connects Prodains to the Mairie without going past Pleney. 
  • C Bus provides a cross-country link between the lower half of the Avoriaz road with the roundabout next to The Hive / Wild Beets (on the way up to Prodains).
  • D Bus loops around the Bois Venant road and Udrezants
  • E Bus runs between Pleney and Erigné, giving access to the Valley de la Manche and the Mines d'Or Experience. This is a lovely area for walks and snowshoeing. 
  • N Bus serves the Nyon telecabine, also doing a loop around town and dropping off at the Pleney. 
  • U Bus links Pleney and the Pied de la Plagne, via route de la Combe a Zore,down past Promocash, and returning via the Tourist Office
  • The Petit Train is back for this Winter! Running between the Super Morzine and Pleney lifts this is a fun way to get little legs through town.

During the opening and closing weeks of the season, lines A and U combine to create the AU bus, which loops between Pleney, Pied de la Plagne, the Medical Centre, Tourist Office, Mairie, and Prodains. Buses E and D will also be running, although at a reduced frequency.

Free Bus Service to Montriond / Ardent Telecabine

Ardent is where you'll find the legendary Happy Hours bar, and where you take the bubble up into the Lindarets Bowl.

  • M Bus links Ardent with Nyon via Montriond. Starting at the Ardent Telecabine, stopping at Lac de Montriond, Montriond Mairie, the Passerelle bridge (Super M), Rond Point de la Mouille au Clerc (the roundabout by Morzine's Fire Station), and Nyon.
  • Mbis Bus links Ardent with Montriond via Lac de Montriond. Be aware that after the lake, this bus takes a back route through Montriond and terminates at the Montriond Cemetery. It won't get you back to Morzine!

Parking in Morzine

The majority of parking in Morzine town centre is paid during the winter season. Keep an eye out for paid on-street parking spaces (marked as "payant") and make sure you pay at the nearby machine.

You can park for free for up to an hour in any BLUE parking spaces. You will need to display a parking disc (which you can get free of charge from the Tourist Office) to show your arrival time.
